Photoshop is a program I feel comfortable with, but when it comes to design I have always wondered how great graphic designers avoid making major visual mistakes. This week the principles that I found most helpful were C.R.A.P. or Contrast, Repition, Alignment and Proximity. These guidlines gave me a sense of freedomin my design asthetic because they act as a reference point, in which I can look over my design elements and compare them to the principles in C.R.A.P and determine if they will be visually pleasing to my audience. A video that helped me is "Four Principles of Design, It's all CRAP". This particular video helped becuase the way they discussed the four concepts was as a tool to develop a great layout. Which is integral to developing any form of graphic design.

Photoshop... Creating a Clean Logo
The next video I found helpful was a video tutorial on photoshop. This video is failry simple but it demonstrates how to make a very clean and professional logo. This is one of the struggles I have had with creating logos, even when they are completeed they still appear to be ammatuer logos. My goal for the quarter is to develop a logo that is clean and can be used for an actual company. The design company EntheosWeb was very helpful in cultivating unique ideas regarding logo design.
